Boomer Attendance Update
Goal: 66.5% Regular Attenders Rate (R.A.R.)
Current R.A.R.: 73.1%
In elementary school we learn a lot about sharing, and unfortunately this week is seems like the germs were being shared the most! You can help to keep your student healthy and in school by; practicing frequent handwashing, encouraging your child to keep his/her hands away from their faces, and by teaching your child how to "cover" their coughs and sneezes. It is also helpful to understand when to keep your child at home due to illness and when to send them to school. This one page document, When to Keep Your Child Home From School, is a helpful reference when determining whether to send your child or keep them home.

Boomer Attendance Update

Boomer Families, this is the first Boomer Attendance Update of the year. Each week we will send out the current Regular Attender's Rate as well as tips and tricks for families on how they can help from home to improve their student's attendance. A Regular Attender is defined as a student who attends school 90.01% of the school year or more. Regular attendance is VITAL to the success or these young learners. If you ever have any questions or concerns about your student's attendance, please feel free to reach out to your student's teacher or the Toledo Elementary office.
In case you missed it at Back to School Night, we have some pretty awesome plans for positively recognizing our students' hard work this year. Students who attend school regularly (90.01% of the time or better), meet their learning growth goals, and have no major behavior incidents have opportunities to be recognized, daily, weekly, and/or monthly. Best of all students who are all that and a BAG of chips will have the opportunity to have their names entered into a drawing at the end of the year for some REALLY cool prizes. It's going to be a great year!

Registration for the 2026–2027 school year is still open!
If you have not yet completed registration, you can still do so. You do not need to come into the school to register. If you have questions or would like someone to walk you through the process, please give us a call (541-336-5121). I am happy to help you complete registration over the phone and answer any questions you may have.
