Toledo Flower Basket Program

Toledo Flower Basket Program

Posted on November 16, 2021

It’s time to start thinking about flower baskets for next year again.

The Toledo flower basket program was started in 2001 by Mayor Sharon Branstiter’s beautification vision for Toledo. In the past, there has been as many as 130 baskets adorning Main St., Hwy 20 loop, and the Port’s dock boardwalk.

Placement of baskets may vary each year depending upon our revenue. We will focus on large baskets on Main St. first and, if possible, smaller baskets on Hwy 20 business loop.

This is an independent, non-profit, volunteer program. Your donations help keep the Flower Basket Program alive!

Please consider sponsoring one or more baskets, however, any donation amount is gladly appreciated. Donations need to arrive by January 15, every year. By meeting the deadline, we will receive a discount on the entire order.

Continuation of this lovely tradition of adorning Toledo with hanging baskets during the five months of late spring and summer relies solely on the support of our businesses, civic organizations, and private citizens.

Large baskets cost $180.00
